Abstract
With a function generator and a proportional controller, a linear heating-rate controller has been developed. The desired temperature-time curve is obtained as a voltage from the function generator composed of diodes and resistors. It provides a range of heating rate from 3-60 degrees C min-1. Any arbitrary temperature-time function may be obtained by adjusting the resistors of the function generator. Keywords
