Der Einfluß der Betablocker Timolol und Pindolol auf die retinale Hämodynamik - eine videoangiographische Studie

Abstract
Im Rahmen einer randomisierten Doppelblind-Studie wurde die Wirkung von lokal applizierten Pindolol 1%- und Timolol 0,5%-Augentropfen auf die okulare Hämodynamik bei 19 Gesunden überprüft. Als Untersuchungsmethode diente die Videoangiographie, die eine selektive Analyse der arteriellen, kapillaren und venösen Phase der retinalen Zirkulation erlaubt. Ergänzend wurde eine quantitative Untersuchung der Mikrozirkulation mittels Blaulicht-Entoptoskops durchgeführt. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass beinahe sämtliche Netzhautkreislaufzeiten, ebenso wie die Mikrozirkulation im Bereich der Makula, durch beide Betablocker statistisch signifikant negativ beeinflußt werden. Es konnte nicht belegt werden, dass ISA (intrinsic sympathomemetic activity) den negativen Einfluß der Betablocker auf die retinale Hämodynamik verhindern. In a randomized double-blind study the effect of locally applied pindolol 1% and timolol 0.5% on ocular hemodynamics was tested in 19 subjects. The method used was videoangiography, which permits a quantitative analysis of the arterial, capillary and venous phases of retinal circulation. In addition to videoangiography, the Blue Field Entoptoscope was used for a simultaneous quantitative study of retinal microcirculation. The investigation showed a statistically significant negative effect of both beta-blockers on nearly all retinal circulation times as well as on microcirculation in the macular area. It could not be shown that ISA (intrinsic sympathomimetic activity) prevents the negative effect of the beta-blockers on retinal hemodynamics.
