Abstract
We utilized two spiral coils with amorphous magnetic fibers for transcutaneous energy transmission for implantable artificial heart actuated electrically. Temperature rise which occurs when the electrical power is transmitted is a severe problem which must be overcome. Using an equivalent circuit the operation of the transmitting coils was analyzed. Furthermore, quantity of magnetic flux flowing in amorphous fibers is discussed. The thinner transmitting coils were designed using the results. Keywords
