Abstract
Various characteristics of seven recently isolated bacterial strains were determined and compared with the characteristics of the three extant strains of the genus Hyphomonas (ex. Pongratz 1957) Moore et al. 1984. On the basis of these results, three new species, Hyphomonas oceanitis sp. no., Hyphomonas jannaschiana sp. nov., and Hyphomonas hirschiana sp. nov., are proposed for inclusion within this genus. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
