Abstract
Pituitary LH [luteinizing hormone] content was reduced by the sequential PMS [pregnant mare''s serum] + HCG [human chorionic gonadotropin] treatment used to prepare female rats for the OAAD (ovarian ascorbic acid depletion) assay. This reduction was less marked than others had reported. Also in contrast to what had been reported, a comparable decrease resulted from treatment with PMS alone. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
