Abstract
The authors investigate the Hawking radiation of massive spinor particles from a 1+1 dimensional black hole. Using the exact solution of the Dirac equation in the black-hole background, the vacuum expectation value of the spinor stress-energy tensor is calculated and shown to be equivalent to the energy density of black body radiation in 1+1 dimensions, yielding a temperature of M/2 pi for the black hole. The results are the same as those found when a similar analysis is performed on massive scalar particles. Keywords
