Abstract

The muon capture rate in

{He}^{3}

for the process

μ^{-} + {He}^{3} \to H^{3} + ν

has been computed using nuclear wave functions suggested by recent analyses of

e

-

{He}^{3}

and

e

-

H^{3}

scattering experiments.
