Electro-Optical Q-Switched Tunable Forsterite Laser

Abstract
The tunable Q-switching operation of forsterite (Cr:Mg2SiO4) laser was demonstrated. The typical Q-switched pulse was 60 ns to 80 ns in width, varied with lasing wavelength. A smooth tuning curve that extends from 1206 nm to 1264 nm was obtained.Keywords
