Septic arthritis due to actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans

Abstract
Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans, a gram-negative aerobic bacillus of the family Parvobacteriaceae which is a nomral inhabitant of the oral flora, is a rare cause of human infection. We report a case of septic arthritis caused by this organism in an uncompromised child.
