Über Taraxanthin.

Abstract
The occurrence of taraxanthin, a newly identified xanthophyll found originally in dandelion blossoms, is not restricted to the Compositae, as first suggested. It occurs in Leontodon autumnalis, Ranunculus acer, and is unusually abundant in Impatiens noli me tangere in an esterified form.
