Abstract
Presentation of CaseA 40-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of recurrent gastrointestinal bleeding.Ten years earlier she underwent surgical repair of a hiatus hernia at another hospital. Within 24 hours she was returned to the operating room because of an unknown complication. During the following year a stitch was removed from an incision site. At about the same time she began to complain of intermittent pain in the left shoulder that was aggravated by coughing.
