Abstract
High volume wettable DDT spray was applied at intervals on early, mid-season, and late sweet corn. Highest reductions of larvae in ears with a single spray were generally obtained during the early silk stage. There was no apparent relationship between the rate or time of heaviest egg deposition and the effectiveness of treatment at the comparatively low levels of infestation prevailing. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
