Abstract
The action of AgClO4 on benzene solutions of [PdCl (C6 Cl5) (PPh3)2] leads to the new organometallic compound [Pd (ClO4) (C6 Cl5) (PPh3)2]. From solutions of the latter new neutral or ionic species are obtained, [PdX (C6 Cl5) (PPh3)2] (X=NO2 and AcO) and [Pd (C6 Cl5) L (PPh3)2] ClO4 (L=py, α-pic, β-pic, γ-pic, 2, 4-lut, 3, 5-lut and 2, 4, 6-colidine). The new compounds were characterized by chemical analyses, conductivities, magnetic behaviour and IR and PMR spectra. In no case does the action of gaseous HCl cleave the σ (Pd-C6 Cl5) bond.
