Abstract
We determine the diffusion rates of two quantum phases associated with a two-component dilute Bose-Einstein condensate. We show that although the phase information of each individual component is lost in the course of time, the relative phase of the two components of the field can be locked without diffusion when the interaction strength between the two components equals certain critical values. Keywords
