Effective Hamiltonian description of nonequilibrium spin systems

Abstract
We present a method to study the existence of effective Hamiltonians for lattice, Ising-type model systems with competing dynamics, and find explicit expressions for some relevant nonequilibrium situations. We also define dynamical versions of the random-field and spin-glass models.Keywords
