Abstract
Taking advantage of a new non-linear technique, the authors have analysed the pulse-to-pulse fluctuations of the mode size and pulse length of the picosecond pulses delivered by a mode-locked neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet laser. The technique can be exploited to process, in real time, laser pulses independently of their pulse length. Keywords
