Abstract
It was observed that light restraint in the cold, without effectively restricted breathing rendered rats markedly thermolabile. It was further observed that the more emotional rats (as determined by the emotionality test of Hall) became the more hypothermic. This suggests the possibility that the cause of the thermolability may be primarily emotional. Keywords
