Reflections on One Hundred Capital Cases Submitted to Electroencephalography

Abstract
An investigation has been made of the eeg. patterns of over 100 persons detained under capital charges. Of these 18 were definitely epileptics, 38 had abnormal personalities, and 37 had a family history of mental disorder. Just over 50% showed abnormal eeg. records, the percentage falling with age up to the age of 40. In 16 the crime was committed under the influence of alcohol or physiological stress.Keywords
