Abstract
An experimental system was built to investigate convective heat transfer and flow features of the nanofluid in a tube. Both the convective heat transfer coefficient and friction factor of the sample nanofluids for the turbulent flow are measured, respectively. The effects of such factors as the volume fraction of suspended nanoparticles and the Reynolds number on the heat transfer and flow features are discussed in detail. A new type of convective heat transfer correlation is proposed to correlate experimental data of heat transfer for nanofluids. Keywords
