Abstract
Allyl alcohols adsorbed on Al2O3-KF at room temperature reacted with carbon disulfide and iodomethane and gave S-allyl-S-methyldithiocarbonate. Linalool did not give a rearrangement product. With chrysanthemyl alcohol, opening of the cyclopropane ring was observed. Keywords
