Abstract
Lymphoblastoid cell lines [human] of homozygous [HL-A] typing cells were used as the sensitizing cells in MLC [mixed lymphocyte culture] to prepare PLT [primed lymphocyte typing] cells. Results obtained using such cell against a panel of restimulating cells were compared to those obtained using regular PLT cells in which priming was accomplished with normal peripheral blood lymphocytes. Lymphoblastoid cell lines can probably be used for this purpose; the advantages of such an approach are given. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
