Abstract
Oxide heating elements for electric furnaces, conditions for electrical stability within an element or a group of elements, and end connection problems are discussed. A description is given of a resistance furnace which will operate at 1600°C. in air, a resistance furnace for 2200°C. in hydrogen, and an induction furnace for 2200°C. in air. Keywords
