Abstract
Angular distribution and polarisation of Auger electrons are discussed. The importance of final-state interactions for the production of spin polarisation is considered in some detail. Numerical results for the anisotropy parameters alpha 2 and beta 2 are presented for cases where the final ion has a non-vanishing total angular momentum. Finally, the feasibility of experiments where the initial electrons are transversely polarised is discussed. Keywords
