Abstract
The angular distributions of electrons photodetached from a beam of negative oxygen ions have been measured at photon energies ranging from 1.7 to 2.7 eV. The calculation of asymmetry parameters for negative ions is briefly discussed, and the parameters derived from the measurements are compared with calculations and other measurements. Keywords
