Abstract
The Mössbauer effect of in Ag has been measured for in external fields up to 60 kG. The local susceptibility for derived from the hyperfine fields shows a single Curie-Weiss behavior above 1 K with a Curie-Weiss temperature K. At lower temperatures the susceptibility levels off to a constant value in form of a law in agreement with recent theoretical expectations. The magnetization curves cannot be satisfactorily represented by a modified Brillouin function.
