Abstract
The relation between the extended J-diffusion model of McClung (see J. Chem. Phys., vol.55, p.3459 (1971)), and the dielectric relaxation of an ensemble of permanent dipoles is studied. The predictions of the model are compared with results obtained from molecular dynamics experiments on systems of rough spheres. Keywords
