Abstract
A method is described for the isolation of heteropolysaccharides from human supragingival calculus. One component was identified as hyaluronic acid, by electrophoretic mobility, testicular hyaluronidase digestion and cetylpyridinium chloride profiles. No sulphated glycosaminoglycans were detected. Keywords
