Abstract
A modified technique using a partially filled rectangular cavity-resonator is described. This technique is analogous to the technique described earlier by the author in which a partially filled tunable cylindrical cavity resonator is employed. The theory and the method of operation of this technique are discussed, and the special advantages resulting from its use are pointed out. Keywords
