Abstract
The epidemiological potential of the computerized record of applications to the Family Fund, which contains details of 75,000 children with severe disabilities in the UK, is explored. The strengths and weaknesses of the record are illustrated, with an analysis of variation in the characteristics of the children and their families by principal handicapping conditions. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
