Abstract
The sex eminence of young chicks of both sexes was very responsive to intramusc. injected testosterone propionate. The inunction method was less efficient. In addition to the greatly increased size of the papillae, the hormone-treated chicks of both sexes showed "puffing" of the cloacal region. Crowing was observed in the 72-hr.-old chicks of both sexes 24 hrs. after the first hormone inj. The hormone doses were 4 and 6 mg. of testosterone propionate per chick. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
