Abstract
Experimental results for self-trapping of CO2 0001 emission are presented along with a simple method for calculating self-trapping at low pressures. Very significant self-trapping is observed at pressures as low as 0.050 mm Torr. Calculations and experimental results are compared with possible reasons for the observed deviations discussed.
