Abstract
Summary. Pharmacological doses of androgens increased the total red‐cell mass as well as the plasma volume in fifteen elderly normal male subjects. The changes in peripheral erythropoietic measurements are related to total red‐cell mass increments rather than alterations of the plasma volume. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
