Abstract
An instrument is described that measures fluorescence spectra corrected for variation of detector sensitivity with wavelength and records the results in terms of any desired intensity and wavelength-wavenumber scale. The sensitivity correction function is easily adjusted or replaced by an alternative function. A wavelength-wavenumber facility enables the system to be used for recording in either mode with both prism and grating monochromators. The wavelength range of the present instrument is about 275-628 nm, which is scanned in about 3.3 min. Keywords
