Abstract
We have computed the reflectivity of an interface between two fluids taking into account the thermal fluctuations at the interface, neglected by former authors. We present a new interpretation of their data together with new reflectivity measurements that we have made in multiphase microemulsion systems close to critical consolute points. The contribution of the thermally excited surface waves to interfacial thickness can be dominant in some casesKeywords
