Abstract
An outline is presented of metabolite-specific in vivo NMR spectroscopy (particularly in brain). It reviews from a physical spectroscopist's perspective, the need for and the methods of observation of, individual metabolite resonances. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.Keywords
