Abstract
Utilizing the quark-glue structure of the eta and eta ' mesons and exploiting the SU(3) relationships among the meson-baryon coupling constant, the authors show that the baryon loop calculation of the pi 0, eta , eta ' to gamma gamma amplitudes allows one a straightforward estimation of the strangeness content in the nucleon. The role of the gluonic couplings of the eta and eta ' is explored. Keywords
