Abstract
We show that lowest-order predictions for large-angle Compton scattering and photoproduction are not sensitive to Sudakov corrections. As a result, the asymptotic amplitudes for these processes, including their absolute normalizations and phases, should be given by lowest-order calculations, without a resummation of perturbation theory. Keywords
