Abstract
The optical excitation function for a 3 Sigma g+ to b 3 Sigma u+ light emission in H2 has been measured after excitation by monoenergetic electrons. Comparison with theoretical total cross sections is possible. Structures in the excitation function are explained as the decay of H2- resonances into a 3 Sigma g+.Keywords
