Abstract
Fluffy layer was separated from beef heart muscle according to the method of Folch and Lees in 1951, which was follow ed by dialysis against chloroform-methanol (2: 1 v/v). About 60 per cent of the total phosphorus of the fluff diffused out by this. dialysis. The proteolipid prepared from the non-dialyzable remainder had a nature of the phospholipid-protein complex which was soluble in chloroform-methanol (2: 1 v/v).Keywords
