Abstract
The compounds of the system Co2-xTi1-xFe2xO4 with 0.02TiO4 (x=0.0) is antiferromagnetic. The magnetic moment and Curie temperature increase with increasing Fe3+ ion concentration. The shapes of plots of chi / chi i against T, the fairly high values of coercive force and the high remanence ratios indicate that the compounds with x>or=0.5 exhibit single-domain behaviour. The probable ionic configuration for the system is suggested to be Co1-x2+Fex3+(Ti1-x4+Fex3+Co2+)O42-.Keywords
