Abstract
Free cysteamine S-phosphoric acid has been prepared. The effect of pH on the hydrolysis of the synthesized compound has been studied and a mechanism for its reaction with iodine is suggested. Some solvent systems and spray reagents useful in paper chromatography of cysteamine S-phosphate are described. A convenient, high yield method for the synthesis of trisodium phosphorothioate, used in the preparation of the title compound, has been worked out. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
