Abstract
A benchmark model for the study of subsynchronous resonance is presented along with two test problems for use in computer program comparison and development. Models were developed with the minimum sophistication needed to obtain useful results and with due regard to the kinds of machine characteristics generally obtainable. The machine and circuit parameters are real values taken from the Navajo Project. Keywords
