Excitonic trions in a low magnetic field

Abstract
We study the influence of a uniform magnetic field on the excitonic trion and compute the ground-state energy using a 34-term variational wave function in the low-field limit. We show that there appear additional Landau levels which allow one to distinguish the trions from other neutral complexes.Keywords
