Abstract
This article focuses on Curriculum-Based Measurement (CBM) and the use of computer-managed CBM. CBM is defined as a type of curriculum-based assessment, and key distinguishing features between CBM and other forms of curriculum-based assessment are identified. Then, CBM procedures to enhance instructional decision making and student achievement are presented through a case study. Finally, the research on computer applications to CBM is reviewed, and salient findings are highlighted with implications for practice. Keywords
