Abstract
It was found for the first time that the electrical conductivity of Y-substituted Cd2Sb2O7, Cd2(1- x )Y2 x Sb2O7, with the pyrochlore structure, is larger than at least 3.3×100 Scm-1 and the optical band gap of the sample is wider than 3.5 eV. These values indicate that Cd2(1- x )Y2 x Sb2O7 pyrochlore has a characteristic of a transparent conductor. Keywords
