Polypoid Epithelial Tumors of the Bile Ducts

Abstract
LITTLE attention has been paid to polypoid epithelial tumors of the bile ducts in spite of their favorable prognosis, often disabling symptoms, difficulty of clinical recognition and relation to invasive carcinoma.1 Reports in the literature2 , 3 hinder their accurate appraisal because they have been included with other benign tumors of the bile duct and subdivided without clinical implication into papillomas, polyps and adenomas.
