Abstract
Three groups of 10 normal female rats were studied. Each animal was maintained individually in metabolism cages and consumed the same amt. of diet each day. Urines were collected daily and were analyzed for N, Na, and K. Following control periods of 5-7 days growth hormone at dose levels of 25, 50, 75, 150, 300, 500, and 1000 [mu]g./rat/day was given. At all dose levels above 75 [mu]g. a statistically significant positive balance for N, Na, and K was produced. Keywords
