Abstract
We investigate properties of the fragment multiplicity distribution obtained in the sequential binary fragmentation process at the transition line. We show that the multifragment cumulant correlation functions have the hierarchical, linked-pair structure. Several distinct classes of multiplicity domains are clearly identified and the asymptotic appearance of the Koba-Nielsen-Olesen scaling is discussed [Nucl. Phys. B 40, 317 (1972)]. © 1996 The American Physical Society. Keywords
