Abstract
A transmission peak at FMR has been observed at 24 GHz in an iron rich Metglas. The temperature dependence of this anomalous transmission signal has been measured over the range 300 to 600 K. The experimental results have been compared with a calculation which includes magnetoelastic coupling between the lattice and the magnetization. The results are described very well by the theory using a phonon mean free path of 2.7 μm.This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
