Abstract
In the rat oyariectomy during pregnancy caused abortion due to uterine changes which produced pressure on the fetus. Removal of the embryos at the time of ovariectomy was followed by retention of placentae and of well developed mammary glands for 6 days thereafter. The placenta apparently produces corpus luteum hormone. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
